The Magnolia Hair Company LLC was founded from a passion for beautiful hair and more than two decades of professional experience in the beauty industry.
Founder Latriece became a licensed cosmetologist in 2004, beginning a career centered around helping women look and feel their best. After opening her first salon in 2006, she began to notice a significant increase in clients experiencing various forms of hair loss. What began as a desire to better serve those clients soon developed into a deeper commitment to understanding alternative hair and hair replacement solutions.
Determined to expand her expertise, Latriece traveled to Brooklyn, New York, where she became a Certified Hair Replacement Technician under the direction of Clem Lue Yat, Master Hair Replacement Stylist. This specialized training further developed her knowledge of hair replacement, alternative hair solutions, and the importance of selecting quality hair that looks and feels natural.
Over the years, Latriece's experience behind the chair gave her a unique perspective on what both clients and hairstylists expect from premium human hair—from its texture and movement to its versatility, longevity, and overall quality.
After more than two decades in the beauty industry, Latriece has retired from behind-the-chair services and has brought her professional knowledge, experience, and passion for quality hair to The Magnolia Hair Company LLC.
Today, The Magnolia Hair Company is a luxury hair retail company specializing in carefully selected Premium Virgin and Signature Raw Human Hair bundles, closures, frontals, and premade wigs. Magnolia was created for women who value beautiful, quality hair and the freedom to choose the hairstylist they know and trust for installation, coloring, cutting, styling, and customization.
While Latriece has retired from traditional salon services, her commitment to women experiencing hair loss has remained an important part of her work. The Magnolia Hair Company is registered with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and provides medical wigs, also known as cranial prostheses, for women and children experiencing hair loss due to illness or medically related conditions.
This brings Latriece's journey full circle—from recognizing the growing needs of clients experiencing hair loss in her salon nearly two decades ago to building a company where beauty, professional expertise, and compassionate hair-loss solutions can exist under one brand.
For clients seeking a more personalized wig option, select Magnolia hair may also be professionally constructed into a Made-to-Measure Wig using the client's measurements for an additional construction fee. Wig construction is offered without coloring, styling, installation, or additional customization.
